2023: Fati Khadija Ibrahim (Olatinwo) launches bid for Green Chamber

Some years back after nursing the ambition of becoming a Federal lawmaker in the green chamber, former Legislative Aid to Former Senate Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki, is set to actualise his dreams ahead of the 2023 general elections

Speaking to journalists on Friday, Khadija who was the legislative aids to Senator Bukola Saraki between 2015–2017, said his ambition is hinged on his passion for quality service delivery to his people.

Drawing strength from his wealth of experience, having served in various capacities in both Civil service and appointed positions in the State, Hajia Kadijat said he was confident of getting nomination from his party to contest for the 2023 elections.

“I had the ambition of representing my people in Offa/Oyun/Ifelodun federal constituency since long time ago, but owing to the interest of the party, as a loyal party woman, I had to step down my ambition till now, which I have the strong belief that it is the right time,” she said.

Speaking against the backdrop of the crisis in the party, escpailly in the State, Dr, Ibrahim Fati Khadija, expressed confidence that the party will bounce back as evidences have showed that there are loopholes to explore by the PDP at both the State and national level ahead of the general elections.

The legislative aids,hopeful said the people are now more wiser and clearly know where to pitch their tent at the right time.

In his words, “As a grassroots politician, we are not unaware of the challenges in our party but I can assure you that these challenges are surmountable and we will leverage on our previous achievements especially in the State to come out stronger and better to impact positively in the lives of our people.”

Speaking on the role of traditional rulers in governance, the former legislative aids,said most of the challenges at the grassroots level would be tackled by making royal fathers more relevant in policy and decision making processes, as doing this will also check insecurity at the grassroots level.

Dr Olatinwo,hopeful while stressing the need for empowerment of youth and women said that the foundation towards liberating the youth is through qualitative education and vocation which she said would be pursued vigorously look into if elected.

As a caring mother and policians Fati Khadija has introduced several empowerment schemes that have benefited the youth, women,the elders and less- privileged members of the society, especially in the Offa community of Kwara State.

A versatile,Committed and industrious Khadija was honoured by Muhtadeen Islamic Foundation ,at the occasion of itszo anniversary of February 26,2017 as a result of her contribution to humanity. Fati Khadija a former legislative aids to Former Senate President was also been honoured and recognized as the Opo Adini of Dopemu c Central Mosque,Lagos.
