APC Stakeholders in Kaiama Endorse Gov Abdulrazaq For Second Term in office.

A head of 2023 ,the All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in Kaiama local government area of Kwara State have endorsed Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for a second term in office.
They made their stance known weekend during a peaceful rally that was held at the council Secretariat to declare their total support and commitment to the reelection of the Governor for the top seat come 2023.
The event which attracted top political leaders, party stalwarts and members of the APC from the local government was organized by the APC Joint Youth Organizations and witnessed a large turnout of crowd amidst shouts of ‘Second term no shaking”, “Sai Ramoni”, “Kaiama for Abdulrazaq 2023” and “AA nio”.
Speaking with newsmen during the event, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq who was represented by Special Adviser, Political Mallam Gidado Abdullateef Alakawa said the event testifies to the huge impact the governor has made since assumption of office to the people adding that they seen the past, present and have been able to anticipate the future with their action.
He called on the people of the state to continue to support the government which they brought forth to deliver and encouraged to sustain the good works it has started.
In his remark, one of the organizers of the programme and member representing Kaiama/Kemanji/Wajibe constituency at the State House of Assembly, Hon Halidu Danbaba said the governor starling performance to the people of Kwara North and Kaiama in particular has been unprecedented adding that the council has never had it so good.
“Our support is born out of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s determination to improve the lot of the people of Kaiama in the areas of Education, health, water supply and infrastructure generally. There is no single local government that he has not impacted across the 193 wards in the entire state”.
“For us in Kwara North, though it is our belief that we deserve to occupy the governorship seat come 2023, but this is not the right time.
In 2019, we magnanimously cast out vote for the Governor and so far we are contented, happy and so please with what he has done so far ready to support his second term which has started from Kaiama.
He however called for fixing of the three roads that leads to Kaiama which are federal Trunk A roads now in deplorable state for the benefit of the people and the economic transformation of the state.
Also speaking, Chairman, Local Government Service Commission and Dan Masani of Kaiama Emirate Council, Alhaji Umaru Danladi said the community is short of words in view of catalogue of dividends of democracy in Kaiama.
“That is why we have collectively resolved including our traditional rulers, stakeholders and opinion leaders that his second regime is our watchword and we shall work towards it. This is the first time that we will be having real asphalt roads in Kaiama since the creation of the state in 1967. What we have had is only surface dressing”.
Others who also spoke in support of the bid was Hon Saheed Baba Ahmed, Commissioner Nominee, Arch Muhammed Aliyu Saifudeen, former Kaiama Council chairman, Alhassan Bagudu, Hon Aliyu Monde and Hon Usman Gunu among others.
