Breaking: Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu: Idris Oluwafemi Rufus Walkout of the party primary

A front line aspirant for Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu federal Constituency under the platform of African Democratic Congress (ADC), Idris Oluwafemi Rufus has walked out of the party primary that is ongoing today in Kabba, citing irregularities and lack of transparency of the process.

The aspirant disclosed this in Kabba while addressing journalists at the venue of the primary, stated that the idea of the party of transparency has been compromised hence he can no longer be part of a process that is fraudulent.

He noted that the leadership of the party has promised to provide an enabling environment for all aspirants to freely contest without any hitches but was surprised to discovered that the list of the delegates that are suppose to vote has been tempered with.

‘i am surprise to see that the delegates that voted in the senatorial primary that was held few days ago is no longer eligible because the list has been changed by the power that be. I am not going to take it, I can be part of this kind of fraud. A party that people are looking forward to be the alternative to both APC and PDP is now cought doing the same thing the majority of Nigerians are complaining of.

He promised to officially report the issue to the national secretariat of the party for appropriate actions.
