Kogi To Pull Down Buildings Housing Looted Government Items – State Security Adviser

The Kogi State Government says it would soon commence search for looted Government items and infrastructure in Peoples homes, insisting that any one in who’s house the items are found would be destroyed and brought down.

Commander Jerry Omodara, Special Adviser on Securty to Kogi State Government made the disclosure in a chat with Newsmen, lamented that people took the laws into there hands by stealing Government items and infrastructure and not palliatives.

The Special Adviser said there is a window period for people who looted Government items and infrastructure to return them, pointing out that after the window, any home the items are found, the building would be brought down.

The Special Adviser commended the Security operatives in the state explained that the recovery rate of looted items is very impressive, explained that so much has been recovered, urged the Security operatives not to relent.

He described the items stolen as those of the people and not for individuals, said if securty Operatives recover any item in individual homes during the search, Government would bring down the homes.

He disclosed that agricultural and medical equipment were stolen in Government warehouses, said that no palliative was stolen in the state explaining that Government had already completed the sharing of palliatives already.
