The member representing Yagba East State Constituency and House Committee Chairman on Information, Publicity and Strategy in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Musa Jimoh Omiata has congratulated the Elejuku of Ejuku land and other traditional rulers who were upgraded by the Kogi State Government to first, second and third classes respectively.
He said their promotion wouldn’t have come at a time like this without the commitment and determination of the state government under the leadership of a pragmatic, dynamic and energetic Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello who have thought it wise to elevate the stools in the constituency to complete the efforts of the government in security.
Hon. Musa disclosed this in a chat with newsmen in Lokoja, according to him; his heart is filled with joy, receiving the cheering news of the upgrading of six out of the traditional rulers in the constituency.
He commended others who may have contributed in no small measure for the overall success of the grading, describing the role of the SSG and Commissioner for Finance S A Youth and mobilisations and others as monumental, praying that God shall continue to bless and keep them.
He urged the newly graded chiefs to justify the confident reposed in them to continue to maintain peace, law and order in their various communities as that is only way they can complete the efforts of the state government especially on security of their area.
He appealed to those who are still looking up to such elevation to remain calm, noting that the state government is doing it in batches, praying that their time will soon come.
