It was a moment of funfair and celebration as Izere Diary reunited all Sons and Daughters of the Izere nation from all walks of life.
The Christmas carol which took place at the Izere Arena, Gwafan in Jos North Local Government Area, witness the large turn out of the Izere people and non alike.
In his homily, Reverend John Ajik, said celebration of Christmas should be done in God’s name and his glory, Ajik said Jesus was born in a manger and the owner of the manger was no where to be found, his name was not even mentioned in the Bible, because he was busy doing minor activities while the most important event of the birth of Jesus Christ was taking place, the day was a busies day and he was making bricks business to generate a lot of money.
The Cleric ask whether the congregation are included 8n the story of Christmas or they are just celebrating for merry making.
Most Christians are too busy chasing the win while God is calling all of us to come closer to him.
Izere people are well known with Hospitality and peace loving people, without Christ all is vanity, no matter how kind and good you are but if you don’t have Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and savior, you will be condemned.
In his remarks, the leader of the Izere Diary Carol, Barrister Arin Nyako, Esq said the event is to draw all and Sundry closer to Christmas Carol is to draw the attention of Christians particularly the Izere people closer to Christ and Celebrate Christmas with Christ.
