Kogi Partners Chambers Of Commerce To Host Maiden International Trade fair

Kogi State Government has Commenced preparation for the hosting of the first World-class international trade fair in Lokoja the state Capital.

The international trade and business event Scheduled for the first week of November 2020 is being organized to show case and promote the aboundant Commercial Resources in the state.

The State Commissioner for Information and Communication Hon Kingsley Fanwo who is an executive Chair of the Trade fair planing Committee reiterated that the event is ripe for the State and it would go a long way in promoting the state economy in a new light by attracting investors to the state.

Hon Fanwo who played host to The Executives of Kogi State Chamber Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KOSCCIMA) led by her Deputy President I, Abdullahi Ibrahim Victor as they present proposal to partner with Kogi State Newspaper Corporation (The Graphics Newspaper) to launch and convene the maiden Made In Kogi Trade Fair, 2020.

According to the commissioner, the strength of Kogi State is not limited to mineral resources and geographical location, but also in innovation, which also really needs marketing and exposures.


He said the idea is welcomed, assured KOSCCIMA of the support of his ministry and that of the State Government as it is in-line with the Economic Blueprints of Governor Yahaya Bello to revive the economy

He added that it is timely now that all organizations and government are working hard to revive economic hardships caused by Covid-19, and the Information and Communications Ministry will in few days launch the Kogi State Business Directory Inventory.
In his address , the state president of the Chamber Mr Victor Abdul said All the needed preparations are in place for the takeoff of the Trade fare which is awaiting government approval and participation.

The World-class Trade fare is in partnership with Kogi State, The Graphics newspaper and The Chambers of Commerce, Industry Mine And Agriculture KOCEMA.
