Kogi Speaker Charges APC Executive to maintain the dignity of the party, warns against factionalization

Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole has charged the newly inaugurated members of the All Progressive Congress in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area to maintain the dignity of the party by promoting peace and tranquility within the party.

The Speaker gave the charge shortly after the inauguration  of the recently elected members of the Party Executive Council during the last ward and local government congresses in Kabba yesterday.

According to him, the progress of the party in the council area rests on their schuder, hence they are expected to live up to expectations by providing the needed leadership and management skills to move the party forward.

He warned the Executive and the entire members of the party in the area against factionalization of the party, stressing that the All Progressive Congress is one party  in the state and that Kabba/Bunu Local government cannot be an exception.

He said Governor Yahaya Bello as the leader of the party in the state did not tolerate division within the party hence every member is urged to utilize the party internal mechanism to resolve whatever issues that may arise.

He urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them, praying that God will grant them the needed wisdom, knowledge, understanding and good health to pilot the affairs of the party.

Present at the event are the Vice Chairman of Kabba/Bunu LGA, State Appointees,  Councillors and party faithfuls.
