COMMENDS AGIP FOR THE INITIATIVE

The Kwara State Government today Commissioned the Koro Primary Health Care Centre which built by AGIP Oil Nigeria Limited as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.
The Commissioner for Health, Dr Raji Razaq, commended AGIP Oil Nigeria Limited for its efforts and commitment to quality health care delivery as manifested in the building of the health facility in a Koro, and equipping it with modern facilities.
“This can only be described as service to humanity. This is an action which the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is also happy about”.
“Your impact will further boost the health care service delivery system in the State,” The Commissioner said.
Dr Raji, who rated the PHC as one of the best primary care center across the 16 local government areas in Kwara State, urged Koro Community to use it with care and judiciously.
The Commissioner equally said the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration is caring out massive renovation of Primary Health Care Centers across the three senatorial districts of the state.
The Representative of AGIP Exploration LTD, Mr. Etim Okypoyo thanked the Kwara State government for giving the Oil company opportunity to build and equip the health facility in Koro.
Also present at the occasion was the Olu Of Koro, Oba Peter Aremu, who implored the State government to further support the community in the supply of necessary equipment and drugs to ensure effective service delivery.
The Chairman of Koro Community Development Pastor Joshua Akinola also appreciated AGIP Group in making health care accessible to the people of Koro Community.
