They multiple award winner,Philanthropist,a politician of Timber and caliber,astute and dogged community Leader,Hon. Ishaya Itse, has distributed JAMB forms to over one hundred and fifty Candidates in Jo’s. The beneficiaries who were drawn from the six local governments of Plateau Senatorial District and are less privilege. The Donor,Ishaya Itse said he carried out a research on single parenting and discovered that most of such children find it very difficult to access Education and education is the only huge investment that we can bequeath to the younger ones ,last year,we paid school fees to some selected students and this year we decided to register JAMB for some of them because the registration began suddenly and will soon close and their website and we did this to help them in view of the economic hardship in the country,education is the bedrock of development of every society,hence we can’t ignore that.
Itse called on the beneficiaries to work hard and succeed at the end 9f the examination and strive hard to become successful leaders. I have planted a tree today,another generator will water it while another one will harvest.
In Her keynote address,Dr. Judith Ishaya from Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) talked on the impact of single parenting on Education and the society,according to her,research has shown that children of single parents in both developed and under developed countries have not been performing well academically because of lack parental care and supervision,they don’t have enough food to eat and generally lacks school materials.
Responding on behalf of the Beneficiaries,Ishaya Aware Azi,charged the other beneficiaries to work hard and make the donor proud,he appreciated Hon. Itse for coming into their rescue.
