ATTEMPTS TO UNDERMINE OUR JUDICIARY WILL SURELY BE RESISTED

PDP ASPIRANTS in Plateau State received with great shock, the disrespectful attitude and flagrant abuse of our justice system by some elements within the state chapter of the PDP who are on a suicide mission of power tussle with our judiciary and are arrogantly feeling too superior to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, by undermining court judgements and orders in broad day light in their usual show of shame.

Pictures surface on social media indicating that some group of persons converged at No 22/23 YAKUBU GOWAN WAY JOS, State PDP office parading themselves as “State Executives”of the party in fragrant disrespect to numerous court orders and court judgement secured against them setting aside the purpoted charade called Congresses organized on the 29th of August 2020.

Interestingly, our team of lawyers and respected leaders are handling the situation technically to avoid uncontrolled injury to the existence of our party in the state.

This act of rascality against courts of competent jurisdiction can’t be tolerated no matter how highly placed are the personalities that are behind this sacrilege. It is purely an attempt to undermine the judiciary and put the the institution to shame and redicule, masquerading under the banner of politics.

Party faithfuls are advised to disregard the social media charade displayed by these elements seeking relevance. Nemesis of the arrogance displayed against our constituted authorities will take it’s cause and the arm of Government saddle with the responsibility to act will soon swing into action.

Surely and understandably, no group of individuals are expected to surrender easily while their means of livelihood is being threatened as in this case.
Our major concern here is, how the party is continuously drifting to the negative direction in the eyes of the general public.

Very soon new date will be announced for our earlier rescheduled State/LGA Aspirants meeting. The planned massive protest organised by our patriotic youths in support of our judiciary is highly commendable, no stone should be left unturned in supporting our arms of Government in exercising their constitutional powers.

We have vowed not to resort to self help and will never because the law is on our side.

Plateau State Chapter of the PDP remains vacant by the valid courts judgements and orders at our disposal, any person or groups of persons having any dealings or transactions with these characters parading themselves is doing so at his or her own risk.

We remain absolutely loyal to the National headquarters of our party and our leaders, as we await the constitution of a neutral caretaker committe to resolve all issues in contention and organize free and fair Congresses at various levels in plateau state.
