St Michael’s Primary School Ogidi Alumni Association Hands Over Three Classrooms to Ijumu Local Government As Hon. Taufiq Commissions Project

The Ogidi Alumni Association of St Michael’s Primary School has formally handed over the constructed Three (3) Block of classrooms to the Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Council and Kogi State ALGON Chairman,Hon. Taufiq Isa.

The project supervisor while handing over the keys of the schools to the Executive Chairman in Ogidi today, expressed his joy to hand over the project on behalf of the convener.

The convener of St Michael’s Primary School Ogidi Alumni Association,Mr. Mathew Adekunle Medupin expressed his heartfelt that the dream of the old students that started in November 2020 has been realized in the public today.

The Executive Chairman of the Council in his speech said,he is very happy for the facilities that have been handed over to the Local Government. He commended the Alumni Association led by Mr. Matthew Medupin for their education support to the Local Government Education Authority, In his words, I am proud of Ogidi community.

Hon. Taufiq has also directed the Education Secretary to transfer four (4) teachers to the school.

Facilities handed over to the Local Government Council Chairman includes,Three block of classrooms, Headmaster/Headmistress Office and a convenient place.
