18th Coronation Anniversary: Okemeta Council of Chiefs Rejoices with Ololu Obajemu of Oweland
The Okemeta Council of Chiefs in Kabba (Oweland), Kabba-Bunu local government area has rejoiced with His Royal Majesty, Oba Michael Ibinaiye, Ololu Obajemu of Oweland on his 18th anniversary on the throne of his forefathers.
In a message signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the council, Chief Adegboyega Aka and Chief Michael Alegbemi and made available to newsmen in Lokoja, they praised God for His preservation and guidance for the Ololu Obajemu to witness 18 years on the throne.
According to the statement, they will continue to support and cooperate with the first class monarch in preserving the rich cultural and traditional heritage of the people of Oweland, urging him not to be deterred rather he should continue to be courageous in leading the community on the right path of maintaining peace and tranquility in the community.
The statement further revealed that the council will continue to support any initiatives that are geared toward uniting the community for the greater good, growth and development of Kabba (Oweland).
They also used the opportunity to congratulate other chiefs who are also celebrating along with the Ololu Obajemu, and prayed that God will continue to grant them good health, long life and prosperity to continue to provide the much needed support for the leadership of the community.
