“I will live to appreciate you, Professor Ogbo, your type is what we need to build a Kogi State that will be loved by all,” he said.

Alhaji Ododo noted that Kogi State has the potential to be a commercial hub,
citing its geographical location and connection with other states.

While reassuring everyone that he would not renege in his campaign promises which were all about uniting the State, Alhaji Ododo called on those who contested with him and all citizens to come and support him in building a more virile Kogi State that all would be proud of.

The Deputy Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Dr. Samuel Taiwo Olowo who spoke on behalf of other principal officers thanked the Governor-Elect for graciously granting audience to the Polytechnic, just as he prayed for him to have a successful reign as Governor of the State.
