A Message of Easter Celebration and Hope from Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau I. Jibrin

As Christians around the world come together to celebrate Easter, Deputy Senate President Senator Barau I. Jibrin joins in the joy and gratitude of Christians in Nigeria for witnessing yet another Easter season. This sacred occasion, which commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ, is a time of reflection, renewal, and hope for millions of believers around the globe.

In his message to the Christian community, Senator Barau extends his heartfelt congratulations and prays for the continued well-being of all Nigerians. He recognizes the significance of this season, which reminds us of the triumph of good over evil, the power of love, and the importance of sacrifice. He encourages Christians to deeply imbibe the valuable lessons that Easter brings — lessons of peace, love, perseverance, and forgiveness. These virtues, according to Senator Barau, are vital not only for personal growth but also for the collective progress of society. By living in peace with one another, forgiving past grievances, and showing love to all, we can create a more harmonious and united Nigeria.

Senator Barau further urges all Nigerians, regardless of their faith, to use this time as an opportunity to rededicate themselves to prayer and selfless sacrifice. He believes that the challenges facing the country, though daunting, are surmountable if all citizens unite in love and solidarity. The strength of the nation lies in its people, and if every Nigerian works towards a common goal of peace and prosperity, there is no obstacle too great to overcome.

He also calls on the nation to continually pray for the country and its leadership, trusting that with divine guidance, the nation will rise above its challenges and move forward on the path of progress and development. The prayers and sacrifices of the people, coupled with a commitment to unity and mutual respect, are the pillars upon which a better future for Nigeria can be built.

In this season of renewal, Senator Barau’s message is clear: let us all embrace the spirit of Easter — a spirit of hope, love, and unity. Together, we can navigate the challenges of today and work towards a brighter, more prosperous tomorrow for all Nigerians.

Happy Easter Celebration!

May this Easter bring peace, joy, and renewed faith to you, your families, and the entire nation.
