ABAJI CHAIRMAN ABUBAKAR ABDULLAHI COMMENDS KWALI COUNCIL CHAIRMAN, DONATES N5M TO COMMUNITY COMPETITION
ABAJI, FCT — The Executive Chairman of Abaji Area Council, Hon. Abubakar Umar Abdullahi, has called on residents of Kwali Area Council to continue supporting their chairman, describing him as young, vibrant and committed to the development of the area.
Hon. Abdullahi made the remarks while addressing stakeholders at a community event in Kwali.
He said the impact of the new administration in Kwali is already visible less than 100 days into office.

“I want you to support him, he’s a young, vibrant person and he has Kwali Area Council at heart. In less than 100 days in office, you could see the dividend of democracy that the young man is bringing to Kwali Area Council,” he said.
The Abaji Chairman stressed the need for unity across the FCT, noting that development thrives when people are treated equally regardless of religion or background.
“In respect to your religion, in respect to your stride, he believes that we are all Kwali Area Council. I want to urge you all to keep supporting him. He will do better than what he is doing now. We have that confidence in him,” Hon. Abdullahi added.
He expressed optimism that with divine guidance, the Kwali Council Chairman will deliver fully on his mandate.
“By the special grace of God, the chairman of Kwali Area Council will do 100 percent in these 100 days in office,” he assured.
In a further show of support for grassroots development, Hon. Abdullahi announced a donation of five million naira to the organizers of a competition taking place in the area.
“I want to donate to the organizers of this competition the sum of five million Naira. On behalf of myself and Abaji Area Council,” he declared.
The donation and endorsement drew applause from attendees, who described the gesture as a demonstration of inter-council solidarity and commitment to youth and community engagement in the FCT.
