Abinu Hails Emergence of Ezzu Momoh as Kogi APC Chairman, Backs Party’s 2027 Ambitions
Renowned philanthropist, Ambassador Coach Gabriel Abinu, has congratulated the newly elected Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Engr Aliyu Momoh Ezzu, describing his emergence as well deserved and timely.
In a statement issued to journalists on Wednesday, Abinu expressed confidence in the capacity of the new party leadership to strengthen the APC’s dominance in the state and position it strategically for future electoral victories.
According to him, “The emergence of Engr Aliyu Momoh Ezzu as Chairman of the APC in Kogi State is a reflection of his dedication, loyalty, and longstanding commitment to the growth of our great party. His leadership comes at a crucial time when unity and strategic direction are paramount.”
Abinu noted that the new executive committee has the competence and political experience required to consolidate the party’s achievements at both the state and federal levels.
He urged the new chairman to build on the legacies of his predecessor and ensure inclusiveness in party administration.
“I charge the new chairman to consolidate on the achievements of his predecessor and foster unity among party members across the 21 local government areas. The APC remains the leading and most organised political platform in Kogi State, and we must sustain that structure,” he said.
Describing the development as “the beginning of a new dawn” for the APC in the state, Abinu expressed optimism about the party’s prospects in the 2027 general elections.
“We have absolute confidence that Engr Aliyu Momoh Ezzu and other members of the executive will pilot the affairs of the party to greater heights and secure resounding victories in 2027. The APC family in Kogi is more united than ever,” he added.
Abinu also used the opportunity to commend Governor Usman Ododo for what he termed exemplary leadership and commitment to party unity.
“I must commend our workaholic governor for ensuring cohesion within the APC as we prepare for future electoral contests. His leadership style has brought stability and progress to Kogi State,” he stated.
He further expressed strong support for the governor’s second-term bid, insisting that his performance in office has earned him widespread goodwill among the people.
“Governor Ododo has demonstrated capacity, vision, and commitment to the transformation of Kogi State. We are confident that when the time comes, the people will overwhelmingly support his re-election,” Abinu said.
