Adebanji Jimoh Appeals To All APC Members To Be United Ahead of Kogi State Governorship Election

 

A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress and a Governorship aspirant in the just concluded APC Governorship primary election in Kogi state, Adebanji David Jimoh has appealed to all aggrieved members of the party emanating from the just concluded APC Governorship primary election to put their grievances behind them and work for the interest and unity of the party.

In a statement signed by himself and made available to newsmen in Lokoja on Monday, the Governorship aspirant said, though there might be some concerns as is always in all elections, the party’s interest should be a priority to all.

 

“Therefore all of us are winners, because the flag bearer of our party cannot do it alone with out the support of other party members across the state, it is only a collective efforts that can sustain the party’s victory in the forthcoming Governorship election in Kogi State”.

 

“For the interest of our party, the APC, I want to make a passionate appeal to all of us to let go our grievances and focus on how to hold on to power in the November 11th, 2023 Governorship election so that we can consolidate on the gains of democracy in the state.

 

Adebanji David Jimoh urged the leadership of the party to as a matter of urgency set up a high power reconciliatory committee that would address all grieviences emanating from the last concluded general elections as well as the APC Governorship primary election.

This he believes will strengthen the party structures ahead the forthcoming Governorship election in Kogi State.
