According to him,the Market is the creation of traditional Nigerian architecture which is part of the objectives of the National Commission for Museums and Monuments where we provide for various communities to showcase their own architecture and apart from that,it is an avenue to also display their lifestyle and Afizere people is one of the Ethnic groups that have taken the advantage to create a scenery of their people and having a market like this one,enables the people to share in the rich culture of the Afizere which includes their dances just like you can hear right now from the background the beautiful display by the Asharwa dancers,you can also see various cuisines of the people is being showcased and the people buy,eat and drink from the cultural production of the Afizere People and that’s the significance of the market and that’s what basically motivated me to be here and for me as the Curator is worth visiting and for me coming from the Southern part of Kaduna and now serving in Plateau state is just like coming home especially for the Afizere and Baju people,we are meeting as siblings whom time and distance has dislocated us.
