Against All Odds, Thank You for Standing Firm — MOY Appreciates ADC Leaders in Ijumu
Hon. Musa Olumayowa Yakubu (MOY), the ADC candidate for Ijumu Constituency II, has sincerely appreciated leaders and stakeholders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ijumu for their unwavering support, encouragement, and belief in his aspiration throughout the primary process.
Speaking shortly after his emergence as the party’s flagbearer, MOY described the support he received from party leaders across the local government as humbling and deeply encouraging, especially at a time when many doubted the possibility of the journey.
“Against all odds, you stood by me and never lost faith in this movement. For your sacrifices, prayers, encouragement, and support, I am sincerely grateful. This victory belongs to all of us,” he said.
He noted that the commitment and unity displayed by ADC leaders and members before, during, and after the primaries clearly show that the party is determined to build a better future for the people of Ijumu.
MOY also commended the maturity and peaceful conduct of party stakeholders during the exercise, stressing that such unity and understanding are necessary for the progress of both the party and the constituency.
According to him, his emergence as candidate is not about personal ambition but about the collective hope of the people for responsible leadership, quality representation, and genuine grassroots development.
“This journey is bigger than any individual. It is about our people, our communities, and the future we all desire for Ijumu. I strongly believe that with unity, sincerity, and God on our side, we will achieve great things together,” he added.
He further called on party members, supporters, and youths across the constituency to remain united, focused, and peaceful as the movement continues to gain support across different communities.
MOY concluded by reassuring the people that he remains committed to accessible leadership, inclusiveness, and service to humanity, while promising never to take the trust and confidence reposed in him for granted.
