As a key figure in Nigeria’s steel industry, Prof. Abdulsalam’s presence at the summit underscores the company’s commitment to driving industrial growth and development.
Since taking office on April 3, 2025, Prof. Abdulsalam has been tasked with revitalizing Ajaokuta Steel Company, aligning with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
This initiative aims to position Nigeria as an industrial hub in Africa, leveraging the steel industry to drive economic diversification and job creation.
As MD, Prof. Abdulsalam brings extensive experience, having served as Technical Adviser to the Minister of Steel Development and Special Assistant (Academics) to the Director General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies.
