AMB. ELAIGWU PLEDGES COMMITMENTS TO PROMOTES FEMALE FOOTBALL IN NASARAWA STATE.
The Nasarawa State Coordinator of Miss Football Nigeria, Ambassador Esther Elaigwu has reiterated her unwavering Commitments and dedication towards the Promotion of female football in the State.
Amb. Elaigwu said as the State Coordinator of Miss Football Nigeria, her Core Mandate amongst others were, promotion and development of female football, advocacy for the right of the Girl Child and most importantly, fight against gender based Violence in the State.
Amb. Esther Elaigwu further explained that , Miss Football Nigeria has provided a platform for empowering the less privilege female Children, using football to move them from the Streets and from the State of hopelessness to a State of renewed hope Characterised by opportunities and aspirations.
She said the platform is also used to helped many less privilege female Children by ensuring that, they are trained in various skills to enable them become useful to themselves and the Society in general.adding that the Platform has encouraged entrepreneurship amongst female and has also transformed many from dependency to Self-reliance.
The Miss Football Nigeria over the years has become a rallying point for Showcasing the Cultural talents and Creative ability of Nigerians, as it also helps in promoting the positive image of the Country through football.
Continuing, Amb. Elaigwu said the Miss Football Nigeria is also at the forefront of advocacy and activism in the Strongle for Genda equality and also the fight against gender based Violence in the State and Nigeria in general.
Amb. Elaigwu who spoke to our Correspondent recently in Abuja, also informed that the Miss Football Nigeria platform would by May 2025, marked her 10th anniversary of promoting female football in the Country and other lives touching Programs it has over the years embarked upon.
