Amb. Gabriel Abinu Hails Lokoja Council Chairman’s One Year of Transformative Leadership
Renowned philanthropist, Ambassador Coach Gabriel Abinu, has congratulated the Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area, Alhaji Abdullahi Ademu, on his first anniversary in office, describing his leadership as “progressive, inclusive, and result-driven.”
In a goodwill message issued on Tuesday, Abinu commended Ademu for what he called a year of visible transformation across the local government, noting that his administration has redefined governance at the grassroots level.
He said, “We are super proud of Alhaji Abdullahi Ademu for his remarkable achievements since assuming office. His leadership has brought about unprecedented development across all sectors in Lokoja Local Government, which hosts the seat of power in Kogi State.”
Abinu lauded the chairman’s commitment to good governance and alignment with the policy direction of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, saying such synergy has further accelerated growth in the area.
“The nation is proud of his outstanding record within just one year. He has shown that with sincerity and focus, the dividends of democracy can reach the people. I urge him to keep the flag flying, as the people are solidly behind him to transform the local government,” Abinu stated.
He further called on other council chairmen across the state to emulate Ademu’s style of leadership, which he said is anchored on accountability, transparency, and people-oriented service.
According to him, “Leadership is not about occupying a position but about the positive impact one leaves behind. Abdullahi Ademu has indeed set a new standard for effective local governance in Kogi State.”
