APC Deputy Spokesman, Meseko Urges Nigerians, Kogi Indigenes to Embrace Party’s E-Registration Drive
The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, has called on Nigerians and party supporters nationwide to actively participate in the party’s ongoing E-Registration exercise.
While addressing the national importance of the initiative, Hon. Meseko made a special appeal to the “good people of Kogi State,” urging them to lead the way in the digital migration to ensure the state remains a stronghold of the party.
The Deputy National Spokesman of the APC, who hails from Kogi State, emphasized that the digital transition is a golden opportunity for his kinsmen to solidify their standing within the party hierarchy.
“I am making a special clarion call to the good people of Kogi State,” Meseko stated. “Our state has always been a pillar of support for the APC. By embracing this E-Registration exercise, we ensure that our voices are counted and our loyalty is documented in the party’s permanent digital archives.”
Hon Durosinmi Meseko highlighted that the digital portal is designed to eliminate manual errors and provide a seamless experience for both new and existing members. He noted that the exercise is particularly vital for the tech-savvy youth of Kogi and Nigeria as a whole.
Key Benefits of the E-Registration include:
Decentralized Access: Register from any local government area in Kogi without needing to travel to party headquarters in Abuja.
Transparency: Eliminates the risk of “missing registers” or manual tampering at the ward level.
Direct Engagement: Enables national leadership to connect directly with grassroots communities in Kogi State.
Strengthening the Grassroots
Hon. Meseko urged ward leaders and stakeholders across the three senatorial districts of Kogi State to mobilize their constituents. He noted that a robust digital showing from the state would demonstrate Kogi’s readiness to continue contributing to the party’s national success.
The E-Registration exercise is part of a broader effort by the APC leadership to institutionalize the party and move away from cumbersome, paper-based administration.
