APC Ijumu Suspends Alex Ibikunle and two Others for Anti Party Activities

Iyara Ward APC Submits Reports of Anti Party Activities By Secretary to Ijumu Local Government and Senior Special Assistant on Legislative Affairs to the Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government

In an unanimous decision of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ward executives,The party has submitted report of anti party activities in the last House of Assembly election by Secretary to the Local Government,Hon. Ibikunle Alex Obaropo, Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Chairman on Legislative Affairs,Hon. Ayemowa Rotimi and Mr. Sunday Awe .

The report and resolution was made by the party executives and submitted to the Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government,Hon. Taufiq Isa, Cabinet members, APC Local Government party chairman,Hon. Babatunde Paul, Secretary of the party and other Exco members.

According to the letter,The Secretary to the Local Government and two others openly worked against the party during the last Saturday election which caused set back for the party in some units in Iyara Ward.

The letter stressed that his actions has brought a lot of embarrassment to the party since the day he has joined and hence he should be suspended from the party.

In a swift reaction by the Party hierarchy at the Local Government, The report has been ratified and the secretary to the local government,Hon. Ibikunle Alex,Hon. Rotimi Aiyemowa and Mr. Sunday Awe remain suspended from the party.
