APC National Chairman, Dr Ganduje, Gov. Bello, Oborevwori, Buba Marwa to bag Democracy Newsline Newspaper Personality and Leadership Awards
The National Chairman of the governing All Progressives Congress and the immediate past Executive Governor of Kano State, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is to be honored with an award as Democracy Newsline Newspaper Personality of the year.
The Chairman who was elected Executive Governor of Kano state two consecutive times in 2015 and 2019, have among his achievements massive infrastructural and human development in the state during the period with his sterling leadership that has reshaped the All Progressive Congress hence the approval of his popular nomination by opinion polls conducted during the year by the management.
Also to be honored are Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State as the Democracy Newsline newspaper Distinguished Governor of the Year, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Delta State, who served as two-term Speaker of the State House of Assembly between 2015 – 2023 before being elected as Governor in 2023. He is being honored as Democracy Newsline Newspaper Governor of the Year, 2023.

While the Chairman, National Drug Law and Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Gen. Mohammad Buba Marwa who since he assumed duty as the head of the agency, has repositioned it for effective and efficient service delivery tackling the menace of drug related issues in the country will be honored with the Democracy Newsline Newspaper Visionary Leadership Award, 2023.
The program is scheduled to hold on Wednesday 18th October, 2023 at National Merit House, maitama, Abuja by 11am
