For the first time , a ruling party is appointing an opposition party leader , the Accord party as part of its campaign council.

This is a clear indication that the ruling party under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is already jittery with the next elections.

A statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary of APM, Abubakar Yusuf said it is a mockery of the whole activities for the ruling party, that was recently defeated in the last Osun governorship election by Accord to appoint the reelected Governor as member of its campaign council.

Adeleke who stood his ground and ran against the APC defeated his rival in a landslide victory.

His stance was different from that of Governor Chukwuma Soludo and Alex Otti of Anambra and Abia state who are playingthe roles underdogs.

With the entrance of Governor Seyi Makinde as the Presidential candidate of Allied People’s Movement, APM, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is now holding the opposition parties in high esteem with fear of defeat .

While assuring the APC of imminent defeat matter the situation, he advised President Tinubu not to contest the forthcoming geneal election.
