APM/ PDP Alliance, Makinde’s Presidential Bid, A Welcome Development; APM NPS

The National Publicity Secretary, Allied People’s Movement, APM, Abubakar Yusuf has described the political marriage between APM and PDP, the Presidential Bid of Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state as a welcome development, capable of consolidating multi party democracy in Nigeria.
In a statement personally signed by him and made available to newsmen said the spirit of of Nigeria’s heroes past and political gladiators from the old Western region are solidly behind Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state, reawakened after many decades .

He recalled how the likes of Late Chief Melford Adisa Akinloye of NPN, Chief Lamidi Adedibu , the strong man of Ibadan politics, Late Chief Adelabu, the three Premiers of the old Western Region, Late Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Late Chief Samuel Ladoke Akintola, Late Alhaji Aderemi who took over from the old western region leaders used alliances to achieve their political end and development , including the mid western region and across the country during their days .
He maintained that the spirit was reignited and will play out in the 2027 general elections both in the South West and across the country spearheaded by Oyo state Governor ,Engr Seyi Makinde.
M doubt the entire South west of Oyo , Osun , Ogun, Ekiti, Ondo and Lagos State are already the leading players in the forthcoming alliances and political mobilisation for APM, hence the qualifications of Seyi Makinde to lead the region into the political victory in 2027 .
From Lagos State to Oyo , Ogun, Osun , Ondo , Ekiti will majorly vote for APM from down to top , proving the credence of the grand marriage consumated by Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state.
According to him , the presence of large supporters from the six states , showed the APM will capture the entire South west in the 2027 general elections, spread to North Central, North West , North East , South South and South East of the country.
While describing Governor Seyi Makinde as a fearless politician, he said the organic supports commanded during the Ibadan grand alliance gathering at Mapo Hall on Thursday, was an indicator of a good political manager in the current dispensation.
While urging the people to sustain the genuine support to Oyo state Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, stating that he is leader with the people at heart .
The NPS further congratulated the APM National Chairman who doubled as IPAC Chairman, Alhaji Yusuf Maman Dantelle for genuine mobilisation of Nigerians towards a successful electioneering campaigns and elections in 2027 .
He said the moves championed by the APM National Chairman has changed the calculations towards the next year’s general elections, devoid of turning the country to a one party state.
