ARC. OBEKPA HOSTS BENUE SOUTH APC CHIEFTAINS TO NEW YEAR DINNER

In a strategic move aimed at strengthening his support base and expanding awareness of his 2027 governorship ambition, Arc. Anthony Obekpa Ejeh hosted members of the Abuja Chapter of the Benue South Senatorial District of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to a New Year Dinner.
The event, held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at BON Hotel, Jabi, Abuja, brought together key party stakeholders and chieftains from the district.
Addressing attendees, the governorship hopeful expressed appreciation for the overwhelming show of solidarity and commitment demonstrated by party members. He noted that their presence at the dinner, despite the short notice, was a strong reassurance of their support for his aspiration to lead Benue State in 2027.
Arc. Obekpa emphasized the importance of unity, strategic collaboration, and grassroots mobilization as the party prepares for future political engagements in the state. He further informed attendees of the widespread support his aspiration has garnered—not only from the people of Benue South Senatorial District but across the entire state following his recently concluded awareness and consultation visits.
Also speaking at the event, the Member representing Obi/Oju Federal Constituency of Benue State, Hon. Ogewu David, applauded members of the Benue South Senatorial District APC for their commitment to the party. He noted that their presence at the dinner would further strengthen and encourage Arc. Obekpa in his quest to serve the state.
Hon. Ogewu urged Arc. Anthony Obekpa Ejeh to pursue his aspiration with optimism and declared his unflinching support toward the realization of his dream to lead Benue State in 2027.
Beyond the wining and dining, the ceremony marked a significant moment in the collective aspiration of the sons and daughters of Benue South Senatorial District to produce the next governor of the state, as they pledged their unwavering commitment to the realization of that goal.
