Arc. Salman Idris’s Secondary School Quiz Final Competition holds on Wednesday 4th, 2024.

The final competition of the Arc. Salman Idris Secondary Schools Quiz Competition holds on Wednesday 4th, 2024 at St. Monicas College, Kabba in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area.

The local Government preliminaries was held in Kabba-Bunu and Ijumu LGAs where winners emerged from the Sixteen (16) selected secondary schools invited from the Kabba-Bunu / Ijumu Federal Constituency on 29th and 30th November, 2024 in Kabba-Bunu and Ijumu LGAs respectively.

The quiz competition is being organised by the BEBM Exhibition as part of pre-activities lined up for the 2024 edition of the Kogi Built Environment and Building Materials Exhibitions.

According to a press statement by the organisation, it said the competition is being organised to improve excellence amongst the students in secondary schools and also to recognised the performance of Arc. Salman Idris as member of the Federal House of Representative representing the Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency.

The quiz competition is for secondary schools in the constituency.According to a release by Hon. Monday Anuwe, the Exhibitions and Strategic Programmes Volunteer in the BEBM Exhibitions, ‘Arch. Salman Idris was the Kogi Man of the Year of the Kogi But Environment and Building Materials Exhibitions in 2017.

The schools that made it to the final of the competitions are St. Monicas College, Kabba in Kabba -Bunu LGA and Baptist Secondary Commercial School, Iyah-Gbede in Ijumu LGA.Consolidation prizes were also presented to the other Fifteen (15) secondary schools that could not make it to the final of the competition at various centres of the Local Government Areas preliminaries at St Augustine College Centre in Kabba-Bunu LGA and Alhmadiyya Secondary School, Ayegunle centre in Ijumu LGA.

The statement also thanked the partnership support of the All Nigeria Congress of Principal of Secondary Schools in the Kabba-Bunu/ Ijumu Federal constituency in making all the previous competition successful.
