Asagba Left His Footprints In The Sands Of Time–Otuaro

Late Prof. Obi Chike Edozien, Asagba of Asaba left his footprints in sands of time in the history of his kingdom as his reign brought in massive infrastructural development to the Delta State capital.
This was disclosed by Dcn. Kingsley B. Otuaro Esq,, former Deputy Governor of Delta State in his condolence message to the family of the late Asagba and the people of his kingdom, he said that the late monarch was a peaceful man whose life and times have profound impact on his people in particular and Delta State and the nation in general.
Dcn. Otuaro acknowledged the profound impact of his passing on to the Asaba kingdom and the nation at large.
Dcn.Otuaro fondly recalled the valuable encounters he had with Prof. Edozien during his term as Deputy Governor of Delta State, describing them as some of the most memorable moments of his service.
Reflecting on his interactions with the late monarch, Dcn.Otuaro added, “during my time as the Deputy Governor, our paths crossed numerous times and the encounters I had with him stand out as some of the highlights of my tenure.”
Expressing his condolences to the affected royal family and people of Asaba Kingdom, Dcn. Otuaro called on God to provide them with the strength to cope with their bereavement.
The former Deputy Governor of Delta State spoke further, “the loss is deeply felt, not only within Asaba kingdom but across the entire nation. I extend my deepest sympathies to the royal family and the people of Asaba. Iam using this opportunity to urge them to be strong. I pray to Almighty God o grant them the fortitude and courage to grapple with this great loss.’
“I hope that his soul finds eternal rest, and may we all strive to perpetuate the laudable legacy he left behind,” he concluded.
