Atiku Commends Fubara’s Courageous Leadership

ABUJA FCT – Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 25, 2023 election, has lauded Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara for his bold leadership in ensuring local government elections take place in the state.
He emphasized that these elections mark a significant step toward reinforcing constitutional democracy, particularly by upholding the Supreme Court’s ruling on local government autonomy.
Atiku described the elections as a beacon of hope, urging all champions of democracy to rally in defense of the people’s right to freely choose their leaders. He also called on the residents of Rivers State to exercise their civic duty peacefully and with a sense of purpose as they vote for those who will lead at the grassroots level.
In his statement, Atiku reaffirmed his belief in the sanctity of the democratic process, stressing that through elections, citizens have the power to shape their future by choosing their local leaders.
