Be Patient with Sen. Karimi, Group Admonished, says his representation has positively changed narratives of doing things differently,

The Kogi West Patriotic Assembly has called on the people of the senatorial district especially the youths group to be patient with Senator Sunday Karimi, pointing out that his victory to represent the people at the upper chamber of the National Assembly was a product of the collective will of the people, as such he would remain accountable to them through purposeful representation and continuous engagement.
Speaking through The Kogi West Patriotic Assembly while reacting to a sponsored online article titled: Emulate Other Legislators, Implement Significant Empowerment Program – Constituent Tells SEN. KARIMI“, described the Kogi West Senator as a man who has changed the narrative of representation in Kogi West by doing things differently.
In a statement signed by Ayodele Joshua, PhD; and Secretary, Kareem Adigun, the group said the
Kogi West Senator’s claims are verifiable for the people to see and is not comparable to past representation, emphasized that changing status quo to one of sustainable development has been his style of representation.
While Senator Karimi according to the statement, is laying sustainable legacies for the people of the district, urged the sponsors of the write up to understand the true meaning of what real Empowerment connotes.
Besides remaining the true Representatives of the people, said Sen. Karimi amongst his peers, has taking the welfare of his people above board added that his almost monthly Palliatives support, in a depressed economy remains unprecedented.
The group expressed worry about the understanding of empowerment by the faceless authors, said for a people of Kogi West who are very educationally, politically and economic conscious, praised Sen. Karimi for laying foundation that would outlive what the mischief makers consider as empowerment.
For the The Kogi West Patriotic Assembly, said, ” What empowerment could be more than providing jobs for teeming Youths in Federal Government Agencies and Paramilitary organizations as is being done by Sen. Karimi.
According to The Kogi West Patriotic Assembly, what sustainable empowerment could be more than rebuilding the GSSS Koton Karfe at at over N1.2 billion, a feat that would help shape the future of the generation to comes”.
The Kogi West Patriotic Assembly, described described Sen. Karimi as a representative genuinely dedicated to improving the lives of his Constituents rather than one driven by political ambition and the “Pull Him Down Syndrome”, associated with a few.
KWPA said Sen. Karimi’s intervention since assumption, is an approach that is tailored to meet standard representation with practical solutions, deep understanding of the needs of his constituency, and a commitment to impactful, long-lasting accomplishments.
“The good works of Sen. Karimi, progressive in all intent and purposes, is paradigm transformative shift in the district—one driven by strategic representation, a clear vision for a brighter future.
It is without mincing words that Sen Karimi’s representation in the 10th National Assembly which includes healthcare, rural infrastructure, and renewable energy, having invested heavily in solar-powered street lights to enhance security and reduce energy costs in underserved areas is the right way to go.
The issues of insecurity that led to the gangantuan Forward Military Base at Yagba West is about long lasting security accomplishments for the region.
Senator Karimi’s dedication to investing in scholarship programs. Recently saw to his launch of a 100 million naira scholarship fund aimed at supporting students in tertiary institutions. This initiative is part of a broader efforts to alleviate financial burdens on students and their families, especially those facing economic challenges. This is beyond direct financial aid.

This project has helped in linking road in Aiyegunle Gbede, Ijumu Local Government of Kogi State to Kiri kingdom in Kabba Bunu LGA, Kupa North, Kupa South and Eggan communities in Lokoja Local government with Niger State that had became motorable for transporting farm produce by farmers and use by motorists .
Sen. Karimi’s distribution of transformers to communities in the seven Local Government Areas of Kogi West has helped businesses and improved socio economic activities.
His efforts have seen to the Federal Government directing the resumption of work on the abandoned Kabba-Egbe-Ilorin road project, a major concern for the people of Kogi West.
Senator Sunday Karimi has also Disbursed N100million to 50 women cooperative groups across Kogi Kogi West after a rigorous training that equipped them with the skills, needed to survive their businesses.
Sen. Karimi has also donated handsomely to the completion of Mosques, Churches in Kogi West, with unquantifiable support to the socio-cultural Associations.
The intervention of the Senator in the Embwa boat mishap where he donated N10m, Donated another N11m for the rehabilitation of Fish market in Lokoja are testament to his socio economic development efforts, which naysayers will obviously not be aware about.
Sen. Karimi has also empowered, about 400 Traders under the auspices of Lokoja Arewa Traders Union, donated N100 000 each to 1000 traders across 7 local government areas of Kogi West,a feat that has helped in revitalizing their businesses.
Sen. Karimi has also Constructed and Rehabilitated 140 Boreholes, Valued At N1.24billion across Kogi West. This effort includes the construction of New 75 Number Solar powered boreholes and the Rehabilitation of another 60 Number moribund Water Schemes across communities.
If what people see as empowerment is distribution of vehicles, Senator representing Kogi West, Sen Karimi has gifted countless Toyota Corolla cars to individuals who are Youth as empowerment.
Senator Karimi equally doled out N27.5 Million to support APC candidates in the seven Local Government of Kogi Western Senatorial District, before the Local Government Elections. The sum of N7 million was given to each of the seven chairmanship candidates, N500,000 to each of the Vice chairmanship candidates, and N200,000 to the 85 councilorship candidates across the 7 LGAs in Kogi west senatorial district.
His intervention during Yuletide seasons for the Military, Police, other Security formations in Kogi West, would forever be appreciated by the men of the Security agencies, who are regularly feted by the Senator.
In the area of agriculture, Sen. Karimi in his one year of representation, has donated several bags of fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and other support to farmers across the district to aid farmers and farming.
Sen. Karimi’s style of laying a strong foundation for long-term development in Kogi West, focussing on infrastructure, education, economic empowerment, and sustainability reflects a comprehensive vision for the district’s future.
While comparison cannot be over emphasized, joining issues with mischief makers on the performances of Sen. Karimi would only make meaning if the intent of the naysayers is sincere.
