BREAKING: Iyamoye Community Agog for Ogidi-Omo Movement as Olumoko Inaugurates New Members, Announces Empowerment

What started like a mission has been transformed into a foremost political movement in Kogi State for over 20 years. Today, it has become a movement of great value and support for the growth and development of the Okun people.
Hon. Dr. Funsho Ekundayo Olumoko, PhD, fMIMN, who has been a pioneer and architect of the movement, took his time to welcome the esteemed political leaders, the Iyamoye Traditional Stool and Council, as well as the esteemed followers of the movement, before the swearing-in of the new members.
Present at the occasion were the Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Council, Hon. Haruna Idris (DSTV); Hon. Ishaya Omotayo Adeleye, member of the Kogi State House of Assembly representing Ijumu Constituency; Hon. Adekunle, a former member of the State House of Assembly; Dr. Femi Fashagba, Provost, College of Education, Ankpa; Hon. Teejay Yusuf, former member of the House of Representatives and Senate aspirant in the coming election; Hon. Salma Idris, who was represented, among other dignitaries.

The inauguration witnessed the solemn swearing-in of committed, capable and trusted men and women who pledged their commitment and unwavering support to move the train of political support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in the next election.
He particularly canvassed support for Hon. Haruna Idris in the forthcoming chairmanship election scheduled for October 17 this year.
Hon. Olumoko maintained that he is committed to staging an empowerment programme for the people of Iyamoye by December this year.
Meanwhile, Hon. Teejay Yusuf promised the sum of ₦1 million to support the ongoing Ogidi-Omo Movement empowerment and inauguration programme in Iyamoye community.
He further reiterated that there is a lot the people stand to gain by supporting Governor Ododo’s re-election, promising that the Governor would perform excellently well during his second term.
The occasion, which also featured cultural displays, brought to bear a lot of sensational promotion of traditional values and outlooks, as well as the presentation of gifts to the Founder and President of the Ogidi-Omo Movement Worldwide, Hon. Dr. Funsho Olumoko, fMIMN.
