Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has lost his father, Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo, at the age of 83.
The Kogi State Government announced the passing of the governor’s father, describing it as a sad moment for the family and the state.
They describing the late Alhaji Ododo as a prominent figure who played a significant role in shaping the values of his son, the governor.
The government condoled with Governor Ododo, his family, and the entire Ododo family, praying for the Almighty Allah to grant them the strength to bear the loss with fortitude.
The government prayed for Allah’s mercy and forgiveness for the deceased, saying “We pray to Allah (SWT) to forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, and grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus.” The Janazah (funeral) will be conducted and the late Alhaji Ododo will be laid to rest according to Islamic rites.
