BREAKING NEWS: Hon. Ola Abodunde Withdraws from Ijumu Constituency Race, Backs Consensus Candidate OTF

In a significant political development ahead of the forthcoming elections, Hon. Ola Abodunde, an aspirant for the Ijumu Constituency seat in the Kogi State House of Assembly, has officially withdrawn his intention to contest.

This decision follows a crucial resolution reached by the Gbede Stakeholders, who have unanimously endorsed Hon. Obanewo Titus Femi, popularly known as OTF, as the consensus candidate for the constituency.

Hon. Ola Abodunde, in a show of party unity and respect for the collective decision of the stakeholders, has thrown his full weight behind the emergence of OTF. He expressed his commitment to working tirelessly to ensure the success of the consensus candidate at the polls, pledging maximum support throughout the electioneering process.

Obanewo Titus Femi (OTF) is widely recognized for his impactful contributions to the development of Kogi State. A recipient of the prestigious Kogi State Outstanding Political Award 2025, he has distinguished himself through purposeful leadership, philanthropy, and grassroots engagement.

His track record highlights a strong dedication to youth empowerment, consistently inspiring young people to remain hopeful, industrious, and forward-thinking. In addition, his efforts in community development have earned him a reputation as a trailblazing and people-centered politician.

OTF has also been a vocal advocate for good governance, promoting unity, selfless service, and inclusive development across Kogi State. Beyond politics, his leadership credentials are further reinforced by his role as Managing Director and CEO of Felomal Integrated Services Limited, where he has demonstrated strategic vision and effective management.

Political observers note that this unified front among Gbede leaders and stakeholders could significantly strengthen the constituency’s chances in the upcoming elections, signaling a renewed commitment to cohesion and progress in Ijumu Constituency.
