BREAKING NEWS: NCAA Reduces K1 De Ultimate’s Flight Ban to One Month, restores Vaulejet Pilots Licenses
The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has announced a significant reduction in the flight ban imposed on musician Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate.
According to a recent statement by the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, K1 De Ultimate’s flight ban has been reduced from six months to one month.
This decision was made after the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, reviewed the incident and considered appeals from various stakeholders.
In addition to the reduction in K1 De Ultimate’s flight ban, the NCAA has also announced the restoration of licenses for Captain Oluranti Ogoyi and First Officer Ivan Oloba of ValueJet after a one-month suspension.
Both pilots will undergo mandatory professional re-appraisal before resuming their duties.
The reduction in K1 De Ultimate’s flight ban and the restoration of licenses for the ValueJet pilots are seen as a gesture of goodwill by the NCAA and the Minister of Aviation. The decision is expected to ease tensions between the aviation authorities and the affected parties, promoting a more collaborative approach to addressing aviation-related issues
