Calmness, Cleanliness: As PLSG Cleared Shanties.

Bukuru,the Headquarters of Jos South Local Government is Completely Cleared of illegal structures. The Exercise which is conducted by the Jos Metropolitan Development Board(JMDB) and other Agencies is to executive the Executive order 003 that was recently enacted by the Executive Governor of the state to restore the serene and aesthetics beauty of the Tin City,with the motto of Home of Peace and Tourism.

Hitherto,the city of Jos was like a Banana Republic where by traders trade on the major roads without paying a dime to the Government either Local or State inform of Revenue,rather blocked access roads and hampered economic, political and Social activities.

Another mile stone achievement by the Mutfwang Administration’s Executive order 003 is the regulation of the Heavy Duty Vehicles from parking and passing Jos to the North East,they are only allowed to pass from 9Pm to 6Am, this landmark achievement has brought respite to the residence of Jos and Bukuru Metropolis.

If you can recalled, several people have loss their lives particularly at the polo Roundabout as a result of accidents by the trucks, serious problem was the parking of the trucks by the road sides around Dadin Kowa and other major roads in Jos.

Defaulters are fined 500,000 naira or have their Vehicles impounded.

Our Correspondent when round the major towns in the state Capital like Rayfield,Dadin kowa, Bukuru,Kugiya market, the demolition was seriously ongoing with stern looking security agents comprising of the men of the Nigerian Police Force, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps were on standby in case of any eventually.

Many traders were counting losses as most of the residents were commending the state Government for the giant strides.

Capenters and wheelbarrow pushers were making brick businesses as the traders were engaging them to pack their goods.

Staff of the ministry of Environment, Culture, Tourism and Hospitality were on ground to clear all the debris at the scenes of such demolitions.

The Time is now Administration is not leaving any stone unturned to sanitize and get the state rid of all Shanties.

What will interest you to know is that, previous administrations in the state have made little or no efforts to clamp down on such illegal trading and motor parks.

Worthy to mention is that,after the evacuation,the place is immediately landscaped for usage by the government in her efforts to ease transportation and boost the internally Generated Revenue of the State and provide the dividends of democracy, yearning by the people of the state.

One of such places is the Jos Main Market Premises in Terminus which is now wearing a new look completely as the entire place has been landscaped and allocated for the recently launched Metro Buses by the state Government and they have since started plying some routes in Jos.

Commuters are now hiving the sight of reliefs.

Shop owners are also throwing their weights behind the Governor for bringing sucour for them.

According to them,customers are patronizing them with ease and urged the Government to continue with the laudable Program.
