With a joyful heart, on behalf of my family, I celebrate a remarkable milestone of the 60th birthday of my Boss, Rt. Hon. Matthew Kolawole, immediate past Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly.
This special occasion is a testament to God’s faithfulness and blessings in his life.
Sir, you are destined for greatness. Your diligent service to the people of Kabba/Bunu State Constituency and Kogi State, without blemish, demonstrates your intellect, resilience, and exceptional leadership qualities. Despite facing orchestrated attacks, blackmail, and backstabbing, you successfully completed two terms, stabilizing the 6th and 7th assemblies with the highest number of passed bills, motions, and resolutions.
Despite temporary political setbacks orchestrated by detractors who, out of envy, employed various tactics – including intimidation, forgery, and leveraging influential individuals – to undermine your mandate, freely given by the people of Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, you remained steadfast and true to the people.
Given your impressive achievements in the House of Assembly and vast experience, the people of the constituency have come to appreciate that effective representation at any level requires more than just propaganda – it demands capability and capacity, which you have consistently demonstrated.
