Challenges of Kogi State to Development and The Blueprint of it’s Remedies

Kogi Sate, located in north central of Nigeria, has been facing some economic challenges for years. Although the state is blessed with natural resources such as coal, iron ore, limestone and many more, these resources have not been fully harnessed to

transform the economic fortunes of the state.

Agriculture, which is one of the major sources of livelihood for the people, has also been plagued with challenges such as poor infrastructure, crude method of farming, marketing challenge of produce, storage and limited access to credit facilities for farmers.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the poverty rate in Kogi state stands at 45.2%, with a significant percentage of the population living below the poverty line.

This dire economic situation has necessitated the need for a comprehensive blueprint that seeks to address the economic challenges facing the state and reduce poverty to its bearest minimum.

Olayinka Braimoh, a seasoned entrepreneur and development expert, has been at the forefront of crafting a comprehensive blueprint that seeks to transform the economic fortunes of Kogi state and reduce poverty to its bearest minimum.

The blueprint focuses on various sectors of economy codenamed STAT (Agriculture, Solid Mineral, Tourism, and Trade Development). With the implementation of this blueprint, it is expected that Kogi state will experience significant economic growth and poverty will be reduced to its bearest minimum.

The power to execute this blueprint for prosperity is in your hands. Vote Olayinka Braimoh for governor come November 11, 2023.
