The Kogi West Board of Trustee member, Traditional Medicine Practitioner Association Chief Ayodele Dada aka Okono yesterday applauded the Senator Representing Kogi West Senatorial District and Chairman, Senate Services in the National Assembly, Sunday Steve Karimi for his monumental achievements and quality representation in the last 17 months at the national level.

In a chat with our correspondent on Wednesday in Kabba, the BOT member, Chief Okono commended Senator Karimi for rendering invaluable services to the Kogi West, North Central geo-political zone especially on the self-sponsored Military Forward Operating Base built and handed over to the Nigeria Army to checkmate the activities of criminals disturbing border communities of Kogi, Kwara, Ekiti and Osun states.

He noted that the ruling All Progressives Congress did not make any mistakes of given him the party’s ticket in 2023 elections, urging them not to change him, as his records of achievements so far has surpassed his predecessors in all ramifications especially on the floor of the senate, stressing that each time matter of national interest is being discussed, his voice is always heard loud and clear.

He said Senator Karimi has lived up to expectations in terms of quality representation and impact on his constituents, either on youths, women and other groups. He has done well,by supporting the women’s society groups with one hundred million naira, Students scholarship with one hundred million naira, donations to various community development associations, and employment for the youths.

He said this will be the first time a senator will equally give attention to all the 85 wards that made up Kogi West Senatorial District in terms of projects allocation, empowerment and support, his effectiveness and efficiency within the district is sagacious. He called on Kogi West constituents to continue to give their support and cooperation to the senator for him to achieve more for the area, saying his second term is activated already; Karimi 2027 for Consolidation Agenda
