Chief Babayemi Olorunfemi Felicitates Rt. Hon. (Prince) Matthew Kolawole on His Appointment as Executive Director of KOGSOPADC
Distinguished elder statesman and advocate of grassroots development, Chief Babayemi Olorunfemi, has extended his warmest congratulations to Rt. Hon. (Prince) Matthew Kolawole on his recent appointment as the Executive Director of the Kogi State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (KOGSOPADC).
Chief Babayemi described the appointment as both timely and well deserved, highlighting Prince Kolawole’s impressive track record in public service, particularly as a former Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly. According to him, Kolawole’s wealth of experience, political maturity, and deep understanding of the state’s development priorities make him a perfect fit for the role.
“This is a commendable decision and a clear indication that dedication, loyalty, and leadership do not go unnoticed. I am confident that Prince Kolawole will bring his trademark commitment and drive to this new office, delivering meaningful progress to the oil producing communities of our dear state,” he said.
Chief Babayemi also expressed deep appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for making such a thoughtful and strategic appointment. He praised the Governor for continuing the legacy of inclusive governance and for recognizing competence and merit in his administration’s appointments.
He urged the people of the oil producing areas and stakeholders across the state to give the new Executive Director maximum support and cooperation, as the Commission embarks on its mandate to improve lives and accelerate development.
