CHIEF BABAYEMI OLORUNFEMI HAILS GOVERNOR ODODO FOR EQUIPPING LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMEN WITH OFFICIAL VEHICLES
Distinguished elder statesman and staunch promoter of grassroots development, Chief Babayemi Olorunfemi, has lauded the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman, for his recent distribution of official vehicles to the 21 Local Government Chairmen across the state.
Chief Olorunfemi described the initiative as a bold and strategic step towards reinforcing local governance structures and improving public service delivery. According to him, the move once again reflects Governor Ododo’s deep understanding of the needs at the grassroots and his commitment to providing leadership that empowers.
Speaking during the official presentation, Governor Ododo remarked that “The cars are provided to ease the movement of the Chairmen as they carry out their duties across their respective local government areas. I urge all of you to use these vehicles responsibly and continue to show unwavering support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.”

Chief Olorunfemi, while appreciating the general gesture, gave special recognition to the vehicle presented to the Chairman of Ijumu Local Government, acknowledging its potential to significantly enhance administrative efficiency, responsiveness, and governance in the area.
He further praised the Governor’s leadership style as one grounded in humility, inclusivity, and service to the people, noting that the administration’s deliberate attention to all corners of the state is a sign of equitable and purposeful governance.
Chief Olorunfemi concluded by praying for continued wisdom and strength for Governor Ododo and called on all citizens to rally behind both the state and federal governments for the collective advancement of Kogi State and Nigeria at large.
