“Building a Bullying-Free Generation can also be achieved through legislation and reforms of the Child Rights Act (2003).

We must all rise against subjecting children to all forms of bully and create a society that is bullying- free for them to thrive through excellence. To enable us tap into the abilities and talents of Nigerian children as national treasures we must jealously guard, protect and preserve their basic rights against all forms of social and physical abuse, neglect or vulnerability that seeks to hamper desires of Nigeria to explore and develop their natural potential teaching them courage against fear.

“We will continue to work to ensure the required reforms needed to review the Child Rights Act (2003) and the Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) Act (2015) as well as fighting the high rate of child trafficking.”

Parents, Guardians, and school teachers must collectively work with agencies on the strategies that would aid the building of security for the Nigerian child. The future of our country depends largely on what we make out of our children, their future must be indisputably guaranteed as they are embedded with natural treasure.

Prioritizing their future will help them and give access to education, protection and security which will guarantee them to stand up, speak up against bully while we build a bullying-free generation.”

To our beloved children, your talents matters as you all are our treasure- you all deserve to be heard, protected and not suppressed.

Happy children’s day to all the children as you grow in peace and discipline, you all remain the symbol of hope and greater future.
