CNPP congratulates PDP for successful ward Congress in Kogi
The Conference of Nigeria Political Parties, (CNPP) has congratulated the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) for conducting a successful and peaceful Ward Adhoc Congress in Lokoja Kogi State.
In a statement signed by CNPP in Kogi State Mohammed Kabir Abdullahi on Saturday, he described the Congress as peaceful, democratic and acceptable.
Abdullahi urged other political parties to follow the footprints of PDP in Kogi State stressing that, transparent, free and fair democratic process remains the hallmark for a better society.
He disclosed that the PDP is threading towards the part of promoting a better and acceptable process of electing stewards who will truly represent and reflect the will of the People in the Country.
It could be recalled that PDP Stakeholders described the congress as one of the most democratic exercises conducted in Kogi State in recent years, showcasing the party’s commitment to internal democracy and unity.
