Democracynewsline

A Nigerian delegate at the COP16 event holding in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Director of Academic Planning at the Kogi State University Kabba, Professor O.O. Ifatimehin has brought praises to the university after a wonderful presentation at the event. Following a brilliant outing, the Kogi-born Professor of geographical sciences had his work recommended and approved for integration into the COP16 Technical Draft document for further deliberation.

COP16 is a pivotal UN conference that is currently taking place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to address the urgent global crises of land degradation, drought and desertification. The conference which commenced on the 2nd of December will wrap on the 13th December.

This outing further confirms the readiness of the Professor K.I.T. Eniola’s dream of raising a community that is globally competitive, nationally recognized and locally relevant.
