The Hon. Ademola Bello (aka Destiny) and Hon. Joy Damulo ticket for Mopamuro Chairmanship election in the forthcoming October 19th Kogi State Council Polls has gained momentum and support from all quarters across the Local Government.

This was made known at the Muhammadu Buhari Square (Old Stadium) in Lokoja on Thursday when the Governor of the State, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo flagged off campaign for the APC election.

The people of Mopamuro across political party lines came out in their numbers to support the Destiny/Dalumo ticket in Lokoja, describing them as the best choice for Mopamuro Local Government and thanking the stakeholders in Mopamuro for the choice.

Governor Ododo during his speech, gave assurance of level playing ground for all political parties. However, he expresses confidence on 100% for the APC across the State.

Hon. Ademola Bello (Destiny) thanked Governor Ododo and described his leadership as one that is worth mentoring after. He also appreciated former Governor Yahaya Bello for reestablishing a stronger foundation for the development of Kogi State.

Hon. Joy Dalumo also appreciates Governor Ododo for giving women more chance in his administration, following the footsteps of former Governor Yahaya Bello.
