Special Appreciations
I want to sincerely use this medium to appreciate God for the gift of life, also to my amiable and distinguished boss, Rt. Hon. (Prince) Matthew Kolawole who gave me the opportunity to serve in the administration of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, through the Office of the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly for upwards of 6yrs, an opportunity I will never take for granted.
An undiluted appreciation must be given to His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Ballo, CON for the enabling environment given to my boss to operate freely in the period under review as without his magnanimity and purposeful leadership we may not have achieve, as of now,the longest Speaker in the history of Kogi State, Your Excellency, I say thank you Sir.
It was indeed a wonderful experience to serve my dear state, Kogi and contribute my quota to the overall development of not only the legislative arm but to the entire state in the period under review.
Special mention must be made of my colleagues in the profession who assisted me in no small measure to have attained the feat today, the information department led by a Distinguished Comrade, Prince Adebayo Aka now the Deputy Clerk, Administration and General Services, Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Kogi chapter, Alhaji Momoh Jimoh Adeza, Correspondent chapel, radio, members of Assembly Press Corps, Comrade Segun Demola of Channels Television, Comrade Jeremiah Ocheme of AIT, Honourable Commissioner of Information, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo, Hon. (Mrs) Billy Nwogu, SSA Electronic Media, Comrade Yekini Jimoh of the Nigerian Tribune, Femi Akande, of the TVC, my CPS colleagues of Delta, Ebonyi, Imo, Kwara, Benue, Zamfara, Lagos, Kano, Cross River, Bauchi and others not mentioned here, May the God of heaven continue to lift you higher and bless you abundantly.
I am indeed also grateful to my dear wife, Mrs Abimbola Olugbemi, my children and other family members for the support given to me during the period, you guys understand me perfectly and I don’t have any course not to appreciate your monumental support in the home and family front, I say a big thank you.
It is also worth of note to appreciate the Obaro of Kabba and Chairman, Okun Area Traditional Council, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Solomon Dele Owoniyi, other traditional rulers and chiefs in Kabba for the support givento me and my boss during the period, may God continue to bless you richly.
To the political class, I must not lose sight of your giant support, Commander Jerry Omodara, State Security Adviser, Hon. Wemi Jones, Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Moses Olorunleke, Executive Chairman, Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Chief Julius Arokoyo, leader Otu ward, Mr Saiye Sunday, Chairman Otu ward, APC and chairman of Chairmen in Kabba/Bunu, I say thank you.
For anyone or group who might have felt that we offended them in the course of discharging my duties under the period, please find a place in your heart to forgive us, it was not intentional rather it was the exrigency of the office while I have let go everything that anyone might have wronged me in one way or the other, as a journalist, publisher and blogger, I am fully back to my profession, feel free to contact us for any of our services.
