DEMOCRACY NEWSLINE NEWSPAPER TO HONOUR ENGR. DANIEL OMOYIBO WITH PHILANTHROPIST OF THE YEAR AWARD

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Danmotech Group of Companies, Ole, Isoko in Delta State, Engr. Daniel Omoyibo, is set to receive the prestigious Philanthropist of the Year Award 2026 from DEMOCRACY NEWSLINE Newspaper in recognition of his outstanding humanitarian services and contributions to community development.
The award will be presented to him at the newspaper’s 16th Public Lecture and Induction into the Good Governance Hall of Fame, scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 19th August, 2026 at the Banquet Hall, National Merit House, Maitama, Abuja at 5:00pm.

The event, organized to mark 27 Years of Uninterrupted Democracy in Nigeria, has the theme: “Economic Reform, Democracy and Sustainable Development: The Nigerian Example.”
Announcing the honour, the Publisher /Editor-in-Chief of DEMOCRACY NEWSLINE Newspaper, Chief Olugbemi Femi, described Engr. Omoyibo as a distinguished Nigerian whose commitment to philanthropy, youth empowerment, and community development in Ole, Delta State and beyond has impacted thousands of lives.
“Engr. Daniel Omoyibo has, through Danmotech Group of Companies, demonstrated that business success must go hand-in-hand with service to humanity. From supporting education, healthcare, and job creation to uplifting the less privileged, his philanthropic footprints are visible and commendable,” Chief Femi stated.
In his reaction, Engr. Omoyibo expressed gratitude to the management of DEMOCRACY NEWSLINE Newspaper for finding him worthy of the recognition. He dedicated the award to his staff, partners, and the people of Ole and Delta State whose support has made his philanthropic drive possible.

The ceremony will also feature a public lecture by renowned policy experts and the induction of other distinguished Nigerians into the _Good Governance Hall of Fame_ for their contributions to democracy, leadership, and national development.
Traditional rulers, captains of industry, political leaders, and community stakeholders from across the country are expected to grace the occasion.
