Dental Technologists Registration Board of Nigeria Inducts New Members in a Momentous Ceremony

The Joint Induction Ceremony of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, and the Federal University of Allied Health Sciences, Enugu, held at the Federal University of Allied Health Sciences, Enugu Auditorium on the 25th of April, 2024, was a momentous occasion filled with pride, honor, and celebration.

The event, presided over by Mr. Idris Ahmad Bappah, Registrar/CEO of the Dental Technologist’s Registration Board of Nigeria, welcomed distinguished guests, esteemed colleagues, proud parents, and, most importantly, the graduating students who were being inducted into their respective professions. Mr. Bappah commended the graduates for their hard work, dedication, and perseverance, recognizing their commitment to excellence and their readiness to embark on a new chapter in their professional lives.

The Federal University of Technology, Owerri, and the Federal University of Allied Health Sciences, Enugu, are known for their dedication to providing quality education, fostering innovation, and shaping the next generation of leaders in technology and dental healthcare. The ceremony represented the culmination of years of rigorous academic training, practical experience, and personal growth for the graduates as they prepared to enter the workforce and make meaningful contributions to their fields.

During his address, Mr. Bappah emphasized the importance of knowledge, integrity, and service in the academic journey, highlighting the graduates’ responsibility to serve their communities with compassion and dedication. He extended heartfelt congratulations to the graduating students, urging them to embrace the challenges ahead with confidence and a thirst for continuous learning.

In light of the harsh economic realities and security situation in the country, Mr. Bappah reassured attendees that the Board was actively engaging with educational institutions offering Dental Technology to decentralize the induction process, making it more accessible and less burdensome for graduates, officials, and stakeholders.

The ceremony concluded with a call to celebrate the accomplishments of the graduates and to look forward to the bright future that awaited them. Mr. Bappah expressed gratitude to the faculty members, staff, and administrators for their dedication to excellence in education and shaping the minds of future generations.

As the event came to a close, the audience was left inspired by the limitless potential within each individual and motivated to strive for excellence in all endeavors. The graduating class of 2024 was congratulated once again, and blessings were extended to all in attendance. The Joint Induction Ceremony was truly a moment of pride, honor, and celebration for all involved.
